As we have compiled this from various places around the internet and from various books, it is composed of many peoples perceptions of what the Crow means to them. If one person has had a spiritual experience with a Crow then the Crow will take on a more spiritual role, if the personal experience was more towards a Crow pinching the seeds from their fields then the Crow would take on a role more assocated with trickery ad thievery. This example is a very good example of personal perception. If you percieve a Dog to be clever and loyal then let that reflect in your spell work, even if other concepts suggest Dogs are dense and viscious. if it works for you then there are no wrong answers.
The art of spell work is using ideals that feel right to you. If its not broken don't fix it!
